An International Space Station Photograph Of A Total Solar Eclipse Over Turkey During 2006

Note the brightly lit ISS parts. This would not be possible if the machine is in any part of the Eclipse. It appears to me to be well within at least the Penumbra.

Compare this with a photo taken during the 1973 Eclipse. This is inside the cockpit of Concorde, as it chased the Umbra for over 1 hour.  The Concorde flies well under the ionosphere.
Note how dark it is.

Another Concorde Solar Eclipse video 1999 shows similar interior darkness.
