Left.  Aluminum stiffening panel bottom fixing is accomplished when the steel strips are riveted on. The rivets are countersunk head type, and are about 25mm apart. The strips are staggered so the joins will overlap.
Right. The strips are easy to control when bundled together with cheap cable ties.
